# How CallCeptor Uses Its Own Call Button on callceptor.com | CallCeptor

> The CallCeptor setup on callceptor.com: the embed code, the page rules that route pricing, security and guide readers, who answers, and what happens when nobody can.

Our own site

## Our own Call button, configured the way we tell customers to

Every setting we'd suggest to a customer, applied to callceptor.com and written down in full: the embed, the page rules, the desks, and what happens when nobody can answer.
The Call button in the corner of this page is the one described here. Try it.

Step 1

### One script tag, site-wide

It sits at the end of every page, after the content, with async so it never blocks rendering. No data-room and no data-tags: the page rules below decide routing, so one tag works on every page.

<script
src="https://callceptor.com/callceptor-sdk.js"
data-site-key="6a65be8e-b3ae-4ad0-a8e0-f9d35faf2a5b"
async></script>

Step 2

### Page rules: the page tells us why they're calling

A visitor on the security page and a visitor on a guide want different people. Each rule matches the start of a path, puts a label on the call so the person answering knows the context before saying hello, and adds a tag that decides who rings first.
Path starts with | Label | Tag | Who is usually calling |
[/pricing/](https://callceptor.com/pricing/) | Pricing | sales | Someone comparing plans. Usually one question about limits or GST. |
[/demo/](https://callceptor.com/demo/) | Demo request | sales | They wanted a demo anyway. Calling now is the demo. |
[/for/](https://callceptor.com/for/) | Solutions | sales | A broker, AMC, adviser or distributor reading about their own case. |
[/customers/](https://callceptor.com/customers/) | Customer stories | sales | Reading what others did; often asks whether we've set it up for a firm like theirs. |
[/security/](https://callceptor.com/security/) | Security review | security | Often a CISO or compliance team mid-questionnaire. Goes to whoever can answer on hosting, encryption and audit logs. |
[/guides/](https://callceptor.com/guides/) | Guides | product | Researching, not buying yet. A product person answers, not sales. |
[/signup/](https://callceptor.com/signup/) | Sign-up help | support | Stuck on the form or the email code. |

Any page without a rule still rings: smart routing falls back to whoever is free and has waited longest since their last call. Background: [routing website calls by page](https://callceptor.com/guides/route-website-calls-by-page/).

Step 3

### When nobody answers

-

#### The first person rings for 15 seconds

Then smart routing moves to the next best match, and so on through the desk.

-

#### If nobody picks up, the visitor leaves a number

The panel asks for a name and mobile number and logs a callback request against the call.

-

#### We call back, or book a time

Whoever picks it up can book a slot; the visitor gets a link that rings that person directly at the booked time.

### What we don't ask before the call

The pre-call form can require a name and a phone number. On our own site the name is optional and the phone number is off: a visitor who wants to ask one question shouldn't have to identify themselves first. If they want a callback, that's when we ask for a number. Firms that must identify callers, such as a broker's client desk, can make both required and add a consent line.

### About this story

This page describes our own configuration. If we change it in the dashboard, we change it here.
Call counts from this site will be added after the first full month of calls.
