Disclosure: ProxyCeptor is the company that builds CallCeptor. This is our own site, not an independent customer.
ProxyCeptor builds CallCeptor, and runs it on its own site first

ProxyCeptor makes an HTTP interceptor and API mocking tool. QA engineers and frontend developers use it to rewrite requests, mock responses and add latency inside web apps and Smart TV apps (Android TV, Fire TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS) without installing proxy certificates on the device. The buyer is usually a QA lead or an engineering manager who wants the same rules for a whole team.
That buyer tries the live demo, creates a free workspace and then, before rolling it out to a team, has questions a documentation page answers slowly:
- Does it work inside our Tizen or webOS build, or only in Chrome?
- How do rule profiles reach ten testers in two cities at once?
- Is our API data uploaded anywhere when a rule rewrites a response?
- What does a team plan cost for our QA headcount?
Each of those is a five-minute conversation with an engineer. That is what the Call button on proxyceptor.com is for, and why it was the first website we put CallCeptor on.
Why go first on our own site
A Call button is only as good as what happens after the click: whether the right person rings, whether the audio is clear on a hotel Wi-Fi, whether a missed call turns into a callback someone actually makes. You find those things out by answering calls, not by testing a staging page. Running it on ProxyCeptor first means a dropped call or a callback nobody made shows up on our own site before it shows up on yours.
The same install, on purpose
Both products go into a site the same way: one script tag, no build step, a key that ties it to your account. Teams that already run one know how to install the other.
