Replace the phone number on your website with a Call button

Visitors talk to the right desk from their browser, with the page they were reading already on the agent's screen. Missed calls turn into callbacks, and every call is logged as a lead. Hosted in India.

  • Nothing for visitors to install
  • Rings browser or mobile
  • Data stays in India

The problem

The number in your header loses callers at every step

Most financial websites show one landline for broking, research, IPOs, wealth, investor relations and careers. Here is what happens to a prospect who wants to talk.

With a phone number

  1. Visitor is on a laptopClicking the number does nothing useful. They'd have to find their phone and type it.
  2. They dial anywayA switchboard menu with no option for the IPO note they just read.
  3. It's 8 pmThe line rings out. Nobody knows they called.
  4. Someone answersNo idea which page, product or campaign the caller came from.
  5. The call endsNothing is logged unless the agent remembers to.

With CallCeptor

  1. The Call button works in the browser on any device
  2. The page and two quick questions pick the desk
  3. Missed calls become callbacks with a deadline
  4. The agent sees name, page and campaign before answering
  5. Every call, miss and callback is a lead with a history

How it works

Live on one department in an afternoon

  1. 01

    Add one script tag

Paste it into your site or tag manager. Choose where the button sits: header, floating, or inline on product and research pages.

  2. 02

    Set up your desks

Create departments, add agents, set business hours and trading holidays, and write routing rules by page or topic.

  3. 03

Answer in the browser or on mobile

Agents take calls in a browser tab. If they're away, CallCeptor rings their verified mobile, then offers the visitor a callback.

What you get

Calling, routing and follow-up in one place

See every feature →

Browser calling

Visitors click Call and talk. No app, no number to type, desktop or mobile.

Routing by page and topic

The IPO page rings the IPO desk. The research page rings research sales.

Rings your mobile

If the agent isn't at the dashboard, the call goes to their verified mobile.

Callbacks with a deadline

Missed calls become callback tasks with an SLA countdown and escalation.

Two-question intake

Name, mobile, new or existing client, and topic. Optional OTP to stop spam.

Agent console

Who's calling, from which page and campaign, before the agent picks up.

Compliance-grade recording

Per-department rules, tamper-evident hashes, retention and legal hold.

Lead inbox and attribution

Every call, miss and callback is a lead with page, referrer and UTM tags.

Built for regulated firms

What a generic call widget leaves to you

Browser calling is the easy part. These are the things your compliance and security teams will ask about.

Callbacks from your own number

Outbound callbacks use your firm's registered caller ID, including 1600-series numbers, so clients can tell a real call from an impersonator.

A button fraudsters can't copy

Investment scams often impersonate brokers over the phone. A call started from your own verified domain is one your clients can trust, and you can tell them so.

Recording compliance can sign off

Per-department recording rules, consent shown before the call, tamper-evident hashes, retention periods, legal hold, and an audit trail on every playback.

AI that knows its limits

Coming next: an after-hours assistant that says it's an AI, handles intake and approved FAQs, never gives investment advice, and hands over to a registered person.

Security

Ready for your CISO's questionnaire

  • All data, recordings and backups in Indian cloud regions
  • Encrypted calls (DTLS-SRTP) and TLS 1.2+ everywhere else
  • AES-256 at rest with per-tenant keys managed in India
  • Roles including read-only Compliance, 2FA, IP allow-lists
  • Audit log of every admin, routing and recording action

Install

One script tag

The first load is a small script. The calling code downloads only when someone clicks Call, so your page speed stays where it is. Works with WordPress, Wix, Webflow, React, Angular or plain HTML.

index.html
<script
  src="https://callceptor.vercel.app/callceptor-sdk.js"
  data-site-key="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  async></script>

Questions we get asked

Do visitors need to install anything?

No. The call runs in the browser they already have open: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on desktop or mobile. The microphone permission is only requested after they click Call.

What if the visitor's browser blocks the microphone?

The widget offers "Call me back on my phone" instead. This also covers in-app browsers, such as links opened inside Instagram or LinkedIn, that don't allow microphone access.

Where is our data stored?

In Indian cloud regions. Call records, recordings, transcripts and backups stay in India, encrypted at rest with per-tenant keys managed in India.

What happens when nobody answers?

The call can overflow to another department or ring an agent's mobile. If that fails too, the visitor books a callback slot and the call becomes a lead with an SLA timer, so it can't be forgotten.

Will it slow down our website?

The widget loads a small script first and fetches the calling code only when someone clicks Call. It is built to cost your pages no more than two Lighthouse points.

Does it work behind corporate firewalls?

Yes. Calls use a relay over TLS on port 443 when a direct connection is blocked, which is common on office and bank networks.

Can we try it before a security review?

Yes. Start on the free plan on a staging site, or ask for a sandbox tenant. We send the security pack at the start of an enterprise trial so the review runs in parallel.
