For stock brokers
Website calls for brokers, routed to the desk that can answer them
Someone reading your IPO note should reach the primary markets desk, not a switchboard. CallCeptor reads the page, asks two questions, and rings the right team in the browser or on their mobile.
The problem
One landline, seven departments
Most broking sites show a single number in the header. It has to serve account opening, existing clients, research, IPOs, mutual funds, investor relations and careers.
A desktop visitor can't click that number. The ones who do dial land in an IVR menu that doesn't mention the thing they were just reading, and nobody on your side knows which page or campaign sent them.
Example routing
Where each call goes
| When | Rings |
|---|---|
| /ipo/* pages | Primary markets desk |
| /research/* pages | Research and advisory sales |
| Topic: Open an account | Account opening team |
| Existing client, trading support | Dealing deskMarket hours only, recording always on |
| /investor-relations/* | Investor relations |
| Topic: Careers | A form, not a person |
What you get
Market-hours aware
The dealing desk rings only during trading sessions. Outside them, the caller books a callback or is shown your official support channels.
Your policy on order calls
Choose per department whether calls are always recorded or whether agents point clients to your official order channels. CallCeptor never takes trade instructions itself.
Attribution for account openings
Each call carries the page, referrer and UTM tags, so marketing can see which campaign produced calls and which of those calls opened accounts.
Fits the call centre you have
Agents answer in a browser tab. Leads, calls and dispositions go to your CRM over webhooks, so nobody changes systems to take web calls.
Questions we get asked
Can we route calls from IPO pages to a separate team?
Yes. Routing rules match page URL patterns, the topic the visitor picks, whether they are a new or existing client, and business hours. An IPO page can go straight to your primary markets desk.
What happens if a client tries to place an order on a web call?
That is your policy to set per department. You can send existing-client trading calls to a desk where recording is always on, or have agents direct clients to your official order channels. CallCeptor does not execute or acknowledge trades.
Do callbacks show our number or yours?
Yours. Outbound callbacks are placed from your firm's registered caller ID, including 1600-series numbers where you have them, never from a CallCeptor number.
