Calling

The agent console: who is calling and why, before you pick up

Who's calling, from which page and campaign, before the agent picks up.

How it works

Agents take calls in a browser tab. When a call rings, they see the caller's name, whether they are an existing client, the topic, and the page and campaign they came from.

During the call they can mute, hold, and transfer to a colleague or a department. After it, a disposition is required, so every call ends with a recorded outcome.

What's included

  • Presence: Available, Busy, Away, Offline, with auto-Away after missed rings.
  • Mute, hold, and warm or blind transfer to a person or a department.
  • Notes, required disposition, and a client code field for existing clients.
  • Browser notifications when the console tab is in the background.

Questions about agent console

Do agents need a desk phone or headset software?

No. A browser and a headset are enough. Calls ring in the console tab, with a browser notification when the tab is in the background.

Can agents transfer a call?

Yes, as a warm transfer, where the agent speaks to the colleague first, or a blind transfer straight to a person or a department.
